This Webquest was created for use with my fourth grade Spanish
class. The Webquest is part of the community unit. It was
designed to give students an opportunity to use technology, peak
motivation with a problem-based learning project, as well as challenge
them to learn about the characteristics of communities in Spanish
speaking countries.
National F.L. Standards connected to this Webquest:
Standard 1.3: Students
present information, concepts, and ideas to an audience of listeners or
readers on a variety of topics.
Standard 2.1: Students
demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between the practices
and perspectives of the culture studied
Standard 4.2: Students
demonstrate understanding of the concept of culture through comparisons
of the cultures studied and their own.
