Speed Spanish is a
program of learning Spanish that I use in fifth grade. The
system we use to learn to read and write in Spanish is a color coded
system. Students record their vocabulary on red, green, and
yellow sheets. They can then combine the vocabulary in this order
to form sentences. The red sheet is mostly phrases, green is
verbs, and yellow can be nouns/other words. Ask your fifth grade
child to share this system with you and see how easy it is to put a
sentence in Spanish together!
