Hispanic Heritage Month

September 15th- October 15th

4th grade project:
Each student is to create a paper quilt square representing a famous hispanic they researched.  These squares will be posted together, in the form of a quilt, outside of our Spanish classroom to share the information of famous hispanics with the school and show-case the creativity of the students!

5th grade project:
Students are working individually or with a partner on a project of their choice.  This may be a reenactment of a historical event, cooking an authentic food dish and sharing the recipe, creating  a brochure about a Spanish-speaking country or researching a famous hispanic and making a speech dressed as that person.   Students also had the choice of creating a game, using facts about Latin America or Hispanic-American culture.  These projects will be presented in class.
