Curriculum:
• Students have a
calendar routine that allows them to practice numbers, days of the
week,
months, seasons, and
weather. Students take turns being the leaders of calendar
time.
The leader asks the
calendar questions and the class says the answer individually or
together.
• The vocabulary we
learn apart from that used during calendar is colors, alphabet,
greetings
and farewells, parts
of the body, animals, insects, farm, the phrase Me gusta, and
commands used in
the
the classroom.
Students learn this vocabulary with songs, movement, games, and other
fun activities.
