There are several parts to a fairytale. Your task is to learn the beginning, middle and end of Cinderella. You are to describe the characters and setting in the story. What are the characters like? What kinds of characters are there? Where and when does Cinderella take place?
Then explain the problem Cinderella faces. What happens to Cinderella? Why? Is there more than one problem?
After that, describe how the problem is solved.
To complete this challenge you must convince the Fairy Godmother you are experts on Cinderella, the fairytale. Each group member will become an expert in one area of the story map. Then you must work together to complete the map. When finished, present it to the Fairy Godmother. Hopefully she can turn you back into wonderful, smart students and your teacher into the sweet teacher she is!
