It is
our goal to provide as many children with scholarships as possible. To be considered for an award, we must
receive all of the information requested with your registration. Please be sure to read the directions
for each section carefully.
Scholarships will be awarded based upon student need and application
responses.
Who May Attend?
á
Students
who are excited about science and math projects, motivated by question and
providing conclusions and demonstrate an innate inquisitiveness.
or
á
Students
completing grade K-5 by June 2007 who are recommended by their teachers or a
professional.
or
á
Identified
Gifted/Talented Students.
Remember, the essay sections are to be filled out
by the child. Your child may also
dictate his/her responses for you to write but please make sure they are the
childŐs words. Do help them answer
as thorough as developmentally possible.
The Parent /Guardian, Teacher or Administrator
Recommendation should be completed by an adult who works closely with the
student and is knowledgeable about his/her science and math interests and
family financial situation.
Scholarship Value: $140.00.

Short Answer Essays
Your child may hand write the answers in his/her
own words. Children in K-1 can
dictate to their Parent/Guardian, Teacher or Administrator. Answers will be judged according to age
and grade level. You may attach
additional sheets, if necessary.
