Level II Work Sample Documents
1. Download the Teacher Work Sample Prompt from above early in your participation session.  READ THROUGH THE WORK SAMPLE TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH IT!
2. As you complete each section of the work sample write the narrative in a word document.  Spell and grammar check it and then copy and paste it into the TWS prompt form. The form will not allow you to spell and grammar check.
3. Follow the schedule below for completion of the Work Sample. Once you are done with a section submit that section to your PLS instructor.

4.  Read one of the  exemplar work samples found on the Exemplar page. <Click to go to Exemplars>
5.  Reread the prompt carefully to make sure you have addressed all major questions.
6.  Download the Assessment Rubric from above.  Review this as you write each part of the TWS and check off each question listed on the far left of the rubric as you complete the sections.
7. Write the  work sample so that it can be read and understood by someone who has never been in your classroom and was not present for your lesson.
